You can use any ATM or bank nationwide.

Federal regulations limit certain types of transfers from a money market or saving account to a combined maximum of six per month. If you exceed the transfer limits on more than an occasional basis, we may convert your account to one not subject to transfer limitations or close your account.

In addition, each time a transfer is paid against your account in excess of those allowed by federal regulation, you will be assessed an "Excess Transaction or Withdrawal Fee". See our  Deposit Account Agreement and Disclosures for details.

  1. Log in to your online banking account and click “Support” at the top of the page.
  2. Scroll down to the “Contact Us’ section and click on Secure Forms.
  3. Select and complete form 155 (Wire Request Form).
  4. Upload the document to the ‘Upload Your Forms’ section on the right side of the secure forms page.

 

  1. Apply as a trust online.
  2. After the account has been approved and opened, a customer service representative will send a secure message with the Certification of Trust form.
  3. Log in to your online banking account and click “Support” at the top of the page.
  4. Scroll down to the “Contact Us’ section and click on Secure Forms.
  5. Upload the document to the ‘Upload Your Forms’ section on the right hand side of the secure forms page.

 

Local customers can visit our branch between the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday to deposit cash. We are located at 4350 La Jolla Village Drive, Suite 140, San Diego, CA 92122.

The daily limits for ATM/Debit cards are:

  • Cash withdrawal from an ATM using an ATM card - $510.00
  • Point-of-sale transaction using your ATM card - $500.00
  • Cash withdrawal from an ATM using a Visa® Debit card - $1,010.00
  • Point-of-sale transaction using your Visa® Debit card - $2,500.00

Requests for closing an account may be submitted using any of the following methods:

  • Send a secure message through Online Banking, stating the account number and your instructions.
  • Initiate a chat on our website with a customer service representative.
  • Call Customer Service at 1-877-472-9200.
  • Fax a signed request with your account number and instructions to 858-350-0443.
  • Mail a signed request providing your account number and instructions to UFB Direct, P.O. Box 509127, San Diego, CA 92150-9948.

To download your transaction history, please follow the instructions provided on the Quicken website.

We do not limit the number of funds transfers you may make; however, you may not make funds transfers in excess of the number of funds transfers allowed by the rules governing the applicable Accounts.

The dollar limits at funding are:

  • Maximum to transfer in: $250,000.00

The dollar limits after your account is funded are:

  • Maximum per day in or out $2,000.00 
  • Maximum per month $5,000.00

You may not make funds transfers in excess of limits described on the External Bank Transfer service. We reserve the right to change from time to time the dollar amount of funds transfers you are permitted to make using our service.

The beneficiary designation may be modified or deleted at any time as the beneficiary is not an authorized owner or signer. Choose the most convenient option below:

  • Send The Consumer Account Vesting Change Form through secure email in Online Banking.
  • Complete the Consumer Account Vesting Change form (front page and Section C) and mail to UFB Direct, P.O. Box 509127, San Diego, CA 92150-9948 or; fax to us at 858-350-0443.
  • Provide a signed written request providing the beneficiary name and date of birth and mail to UFB Direct, P.O. Box 509127, San Diego, CA 92150-9948 or; fax to 858-350-0443.

    From the Website:

    • Log into Online Banking.
    • Click on Accounts.
    • Click on External Accounts.
    • Click on the settings wheel next to the account you wish to verify.
    • Enter the two tiny trial deposit amounts and click Ok.

      From the Mobile App:

      • Log into Online Banking.
      • Tap on Move $.
      • Tap on External Accounts.
      • Tap on Verify Account.
      • Enter the two trial deposit amounts.
      • Tap on Verify Account to confirm.

        To set up direct deposits or send a wire to your account use the UFB Direct routing and transit number: 122287251.

        Local customers are welcome to visit our headquarters located at 4350 La Jolla Village Dr., Suite 140, San Diego, CA 92122. Our office hours are 9am - 5pm PT Monday to Friday.

        UFB Direct will send an initial starter kit of checks free of charge if you order them during the application process. Otherwise, you can re-order checks online using the following directions:

        • Login to your account
        • Click on Accounts
        • Click on the account you want to order checks for
        • Click on Details
        • Click on Order Checks
        • Click on Continue to navigate to our external check ordering site
        1. Login to your online banking account and click on the Forms tab at the bottom of the page to be directed to the Secure Forms page.

        Or

        1. Click on ‘Support’ located at the top of your dashboard and scroll down to ‘Contact us’.
        2. Select Secure Forms.
